History

Lithcote Europe S.A. was founded in January 1967 by the American company Lithcote Corporation and the Belgian company Fours Lecocq. At present it belongs to private individuals of Belgian nationality.

In January 1989 Lithcote Europe S.A. bought all the assets, know-how and business of the company 'Fluocoatings' in Antwerp, which was active in the same sector. All the equipment of this company was transferred to Trazegnies.

In September 1996, Lithcote Europe S.A. bought all the commercial and technical documentation and some of the equipment of the bankrupt company Induco in Courtrai which traded in the same sector.

Lithcote Europe S.A. has modern manufacturing and control facilities in its factory in Trazegnies, in particular as a result of major investments made principally in 1989, 1995 and 1999.

It is now the only Belgian company working in its special field.

It has been the "Industrial Licensed Applicator" of Dupont de Nemours S.A.

In December 1989 it was licensed to apply anti-adhesive coatings on joints supplied to S.E.P. intended for the Ariane 4 and Ariane 5 rockets.
